What did you say about the death penalty to start with?

A week or so ago, I said that for the 1st time, I'd be willing to settle for life in prison (with ZERO parole option)....because of a few situations recently where the accuracy (and integrity) of forensic data was severely compromised. But when someone truly kills in the first degree...if there's no question...I still say I'd like to go back to hangings on the White House lawn.
