For those of us that are old enough, it's similar to the shifts from DOS to Windows programming. Or maybe procedural to OOP. But it's worth the effort. I started out in WPF making a transparent form with a round border containing one animated "click me" button. that in itself sold me, but I'm easily impressed. :)
