Terry ---
I know you can do it in a two step process. Install VS and unselect VFP on drive D and then do another install (it won't copy over the previous shared DLLs) of VFP only on drive C. Meanwhile, it the VFP menu item Tools/Option select File Locations and just point to the help file, whereever it may be.
>Just got VS6. Would like to do complete install (less VFP6) on 'D' drive (lots of space) and VFP6 from VS on 'C'. Is this feasible? If so, can I change the VFP base directory to something other than the default directory structure and what are the side effects? Also, if all of the above is practical can I point VFP help to the msdn help installed on 'D'. (Whew, I'm not sure its worth all this...I'm getting a headache)
