The answer to this somewhat depends on what version of SQL Server you intend to run. If you are going to use 7.0, by all means continue using SYS(2015) but expand the field to 20 (I think) and on the SQL side it can be made an autonumber field. If 6.5, it's an indentity integer field that has automatic key gens and they are not compatible....so, when you port, you're gonna have to do some new key generation.
