Hi Dennis...
What is the best? Depends on who you talk to. It can be - and usually is - fairly subjective. Whil's first 3.0 book was very good. There is little question that his 6.0 Fundementals book will be very good as well. However, according to the Hentzenwerke website, that book is not slated to come out until late October. So, if you need something now, I would suggest checking out the QUE 5.0 book for the basics of VFP. VFP 5 and 6 are about 90% the same product. Our book has lots of text on the new features of 6.0. However, if you are just starting out - or all you want is info on 6 - I DO NOT recommend you get the book that Rod and I wrote. It is aimed at advanced audience. However, if you need a reference on VFP 6.0 today - our's is the only book both on the market and available today. I would also recommend the VFP website. There are lots of good resources up there with regard to 6.0.
