I have an inherited VFP6 app that is being ported to VFP8. A number of forms are build using components from classes, and one of these components has the caption for a label set to "= Total".

Obviously the desired outcome is for the form in this instance to display "= Total". But when the form loads, VFP 8 evaluates this and throws and error that the variable "Total" is not found. How do I configure this caption so that it shows the equal sign without getting the error?
