It's fixed, what I did was export the class in the browser and noticed this entry Picture = '..\' which explains my curious message 'File c:\employee' does not exist, as ..\ would point to this directory, this must be a bug as I never associate a picture with a form. I looked at the class in the designer and the picture property stated (None) but it was emboldened (indicating a non-standard value) I ran reset to default and Bingo problem over
