I have an issue with too many VARCHAR2(2000) in a view. The underlying table has 92 fields and 11 memo fields. When I converted it to Oracle the 11 memo fields went to VARCHAR2(2000)'s. If I bring a view up with all fields present, I get an ODBC error stating that the SQL Statement is 'improperly ended'. After much trial and error I noticed that if reduced the size of some of the VARCHAR's (some to 1000, some to 500), I could get the view to work fine. Has anyone else run into this issue?
Using MS ODBC Driver MSORCL10.dll Version 2.00.006325 dated 1/9/97, VFP5.0a, Personal Oracle 8 (Oracle 7.3 at users site.)
Is there any way to download JUST the newest MS oracle ODBC driver?
Thanks,
Kevin
