Thanks Gregory for the info. I still can not get my head around creating and using the subclass? I want to register and use mswinsock to send emails out. This function works fine on my computer but not on clients computer. I have followed Naomi's suggestions, Sergey's info but I do not fully understand from start to finish.

Would you or someone be able to give me step by step instructions from the start how to create a subclass, based on what (mswinsck.ocx ??), what to put inside and how to connect it to a form where I am sending my emails. TIA.
