But now the class looks and works fine except I get this error message : "Property connect is not found" and when I look into the sock (ole) properties, I can see connect there. The function is stopping at : "sock.Connect(strServ,lnServPort)" in smtpmail.prg. Any thoughts ??? Many thanks.

It should be Sock.Sock connect now since we changed the class to use container and WinSock inside it.
