The problem is that since I have header-click sorts on all columns, when I click on a header in the scrolled far-right area, after the sort the grid snaps back to the default (column 1 on left edge) position. Can someone tell me how to keep the grid from doing this?

What has worked for me is to set focus to the current control in the column whose header is being clicked. Just put a SetFocus() command in the header click method.
