Not one of my customers, in 25 years, has ever implied that they don't like or want my apps because of how they look. It's not a consideration to me - or my customers.

>I looked at the link which Craig referenced; looks pretty cool, frankly and I know customers who might very well want such visual effects on their forms. So, I suppose regular WinForms won't do those things at all, or just not as easily?

>>>I've heard that same argument before. You need to think outside the box here. There are many ways to visualize data that can add value to the app. Look at this demo http://download3.xceedsoft.com/demo/gridwpf/Xceed.Wpf.DataGrid.Samples.LiveExplorer.xbap

>>I looked at that demo and thought, "So what??". It's very pretty. In my opinion, this adds zero to the business apps I work on, except of course, more development time. I can accomplish the exact same result with the controls that come out of the VS toolbox. By result, I mean putting data in front of a user. The difference here is that with WPF, they can have it later as opposed to now.

>>Now don't misunderstand me, I really like the look, I just am not willing to invest all the time involved to make it more pretty. Pretty adds nothing to functionality.
