The same way everyone else does, a build/buy decision.
We can go round and round about this, but it comes down to the point I made some time ago. You don't really understand what WPF is capable of doing. You're trying to apply WPF to the Winforms you have now. It was Viv or Tc who said something like, "With Winforms you display data in a form. With WPF, you apply a display template to the data." WPF requires a different way of thinking.
