Hi all,
I have to manage an IBM Pro Prnte bypassng windows drivers , because I have to use old programs
which send to the printer Escape sequence and send strings to the printer by using the @ row, col say ... notation.
The printer is connected to a remote computer and I load it in my Printers.

I use this commands :

Set device to printer 
Set Printer to (zPrinterName)
Set Printer on 

* line to be sent to th printer here

Set Printer off
Set Printer to
Set Device To screen

zNomePrinter is the printer port oftheprinter, not its windows name ( \\pcname\printer )
I can print evrything but I cannot switch from compressed font to expanded, and what is worse
it takes several seconds, up to 20 to process the command Set printer to (zPrinterName)
Any advice ?
