We have many projects in VFP 5.0 and were looking at moving up to VFP 6.0.

When we compiled a project, we have noticed the following problems.

1) When you click on a column in some of our grids, we set a new index order so the records will sort dynamically. This works all the time in 5.0, but in 6.0 under certain columns, it blows up saying it can't find the index. (Variable not found). Recompile in 5.0, it works fine again.

2) 6.0 seems slower loading the forms and the grid refreshes (mentioned above) are slow to change. Where the user used to not visible see the refresh, now it is very apparent.

Can anyone give me a clue as to what is happening, or is this 6.0?
