>I've been coerced by a mob of users into using a grid with a lot of non-visible columns with a horizontal scrollbar. The problem is that since I have header-click sorts on all columns, when I click on a header in the scrolled far-right area, after the sort the grid snaps back to the default (column 1 on left edge) position. Can someone tell me how to keep the grid from doing this?

Try using .grid.acitvatecell(row, col) and maybe use the .activecol() + ? to as the col value.
