2042 which is FoxCode table is wrong version. this is a distributed EXE file that does not use the table and nowhere in my code does it mention the foxcode table.

Are they positive that's the error they're seeing?
If so, maybe you could issue _FOXCODE = "" early in your app startup, or maybe even in CONFIG.FPW if it's supported there.
