I've used Logmein for over 3 years and currently have connections to around 100 machines in the UK and internationally.

Logmein is quick to connect - easy to operate and in my view a much better solution than RDP

As Al says - if all you want to do is to control a remote workstation the connection is free - if you want to file transfer or print locally then you need a paid subscription
