I did try Clear TypeAhead but it doesn't affect the value returned by LastKey().

I won't bore you with the details, but after checking the value of LastKey(), I'd like to reset it to ensure that the next time it's checked it won't just return the same value if nothing has been pressed in the meantime. I've used Keyboard "{Home}" to change the value but that does incur certain behaviour that I'd prefer not to happen, but it's acceptable.
