The Army Major was known to have objected to the war in Iraq and Afghanistan and was trying to convert his patients to Islam, which caused many arguments with his patients and himself. He may have also been self-medicating with psychotropic drugs since he is a Psychiatrist. The red flags were everywhere and no one had the you know whats to stop this before it exploded into violence. Too late now.

It was also discovered that the shooter in Orlando, Florida, was on Pschyotropic drugs, which have been known to cause violent reactions.

If I had been there, and had a gun handy, I'd have taken that Major down. The availability of guns is not the problem. The guns didn't do the violence, but the moron who went loco. In the old days in Texas, if you messed with someone's cows, or property, it was perfectly acceptable to send some rock salt that person's way, usually in his behind. :)

>There are some things that make you wonder, though. Two mass shootings in two days. They might have happened if not for the easy availability of guns, but that isn't my point, either. There may be a screw loose somewhere in our national character.
