I think it's probably overkill because there seems to be something else going on here, but I'do have the grid backcolor, the grid column backcolor and the grid textbox backcolor properties ALL set to the colors that I want displayed on the grid, but I'm still getting a white background on all the grid cells that display data from the view.

I've never had a problem with this before, but this form is inheriting from a form class which inherits the grid on it from a custom grid class. This may have nothing to do with the issue, but this is the first time I've done this with custom form and grid classes and also the first time I've had the problem.

Finally, when I step through the code in the debugger, I can see that the grid is displaying with the colors that I want (I've got editable and read-only columns highlighted in different colors) UNTIL a call to a REQUERY() method is made to update the data and that's when the cells (although interestingly not the header cells) turn white.
