>>Hey, I live in Cleveland. Our team isn't even worth joking about - it would just be too cruel. Last game Anderson's passer rating was 10.5 !!! I'm pretty sure that's the worst anybody has done since about 1981. There is now a movement afoot to have Art Modell come back and take *this* team someplace else <bg>

I'd bet a lot of money changed hands on that game. I would not have expected them to beat the spread, let alone the Packers.

Looks like our Browns' clever plan to go for the top draft pick is falling into place. Will probably be the first time the number one pick went for a right guard or long-snapper.
( I mean, hey, we blew off Sanchez - we have *2* - count them 2 - quarterbacks )

Charles Hankey

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.

-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Ben Franklin

Pardon him, Theodotus. He is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature.
