does seem mdown() does not capture toolbar click (did not check the menu). currently the only toolbar or menu item i am interested in is the cmdsave. so i set save_process in cmdsave. in brcc "if lchangingrow or save_process" so that cmdsave will execute my row level validation. not slick but will work (i hope).
let me know when you come up with a real fix.
