The problem is you didn't tell us what the problem was. ;-) "would not run" doesn't tell much about how the app magically got on the new box.
But my guess is they did the move of stuff to the new box themselves, copied the app, but did nothing to install the VFP 6.0 run times. Give them an install for that, let them run the install, then see if the app runs.
If you don't have a runtime installer ready to go I think you can still find one on the Fox wiki. Google around a bit for "vfp 6.0 runtime installer" and you should find what you need.
