I'm sure Tamar will be back among us before long. I have not tried to call her today because I know she is up to her ears with relatives and funeral arrangements, and maybe the funeral itself.

I am fortunate that my parents are both still alive. They are in their late 70s, though, and have the usual health issues of people that age. My dad likes to say that getting old isn't for sissies.
