For the redirect issue, Google [dell ie redirect]
It looks like redirects can be caused by at least two (related?) things:
- what your browser is set to display in case of a 404
- what your default search engine is
I don't know if either of those will change back redirects such as dell.msn.com. I think that sort of redirect is at least borderline evil, especially if it can't be disabled.
