Actually, I liked the Portland area ... lots greener than central WA (of course, that means wetter too). But, we were renting a house there, and our house in WA is paid for. So, hmmm ... pay rent when you have no income or live in a house with no mortgage payments. Well, that's a no-brainer. <g> Besides, I really missed my house. It's good to be back!
