I'm trying to play an .avi video with VFP6 for my splash screen. In VFP5.0a I used a videoframe to do it, but if I run the same thing in VFP6 one of two things happens:

1) VFP6 gives a GPF error and it crashes, or
2) I get an error saying "276: MMSYSTEM276 The device driver is not ready. Wait a minute and try again". The only thing running on my PC at the time was the VFP6 app.

Sooooo... in a desperate attempt to see SOMETHING work today, I went to the solutions.pjx that comes with VFP6 and tried to run the mci_play.scx - same problem.

Does anyone have any guesses on this? Or better yet, is there an .avi-ready .scx that works with VFP6 floating around? -Thanks- Victor
