When a file is open in SQL Server, the tab only shows a small part of the actualy file name. Same with the drop down Active Files list. For example, I have 2 files open from DB PkDemo3 on server SMAP001, pGetCustomers and pUpdateCustomers.

What I see in the tabs is "SMAP001.PKDEMO3..C:\....ers.sql" and "SMAP001.PKDEMO3..C:\....ers.sql".

Which one is which? When you have many files open, it's darn near impossible to tell which is which without clicking through all the tabs. I looked at the options, and I don't see any way to remove the Server/DBName from the tabs/Drop Down selector.

You have to wonder about the dev team at MS testing this and thinking, "Yup,. looks good to me"

Anyone know if this "feature" can be changed.
