>I have been trying out InstallShield (for Visual C++ 6.0 in The Visual Studi package). Can't figure out how to register the runtime part of Vfp6.0. Do You have any idea? Could You possibly send me an overview over which files I do need, and what lines to include in the registry?
I use InstallShield Express (from Borland C++ Builder). I tried the full
package from Vstudio and found it a pain in the ass since you have to
do everything manually via script. Express is much easier to deal with.
You shouldn't have to do anything with any of the runtime DLLs.
If the files have the OleRegister flag set InstallShield will
auto register them.
I don't know which file needs to be registered, but you can easily
figure this out by creating a VFP runtime install and looking at
the .DEP (dependency) file.
