Hi

I have a customer who installed one of my applications on a Windows XP machine. When the application is run over the network from another WinXP or Vista machine the speed of loading is acceptable. However, when accessed from a Windows 7 workstation it takes 5 minutes before you see the login screen (Yes 5 minutes). The Windows 7 workstation is using a Gigabyte Ethernet card.

Does anybody have an idea what might be causing such an extreme slowdown under Windows 7? I do notice VFP 9 is slower under Windows 7 on my workstation but nothing like what the customer is seeing.

I will ask them to check their Antivirus but beyond that has anyone experienced anything else?
