I have a customer who wishes to be notified by a voice message on his phone when a particular events occurs at a fuel site. Currently the site is setup to send me the data via TCP/IP which I can decode etc. but I have never interfaced with a regular phone system and sent a pre-recorded message. Has anyone had any experience sending voice messages to regular phone?

I suggested that we could instead use SMS with their cell phone but they are adamant about receiving a regular voice message by phone.
