Hello Experts!
In Windows 98; Hyper Terminal Receives data from Serial Port and Sends data to Capture.txt file, from where data is parsed and appended into DBF file programmatically, Settings for COM1 are Bits Per Second 9600,Data Bits 7,Parity None,Stop bits 1, Folow Control= Hardware.
All things are working Ok. (Using Win98).
In WindowsXP Sp2, with same COM settings, Hyper Terminal sends some garbage data with some characters to the Capture.txt file.
When data is appended to .DBF file, I checked garbage data is Char(0). Due to this reason Ttext translation to DBF fields is not correct.
Kindly guide me, what changing I should make,so that hyperterminal should stop to send chr(0) to Capture.txt file.
I've tried HyperTerminal Edition 5, 6.4 and 7 but result is same.

Thank you very much in advance.
