We need to load an ASP.Net membership system from existing VFP customer table entries. We will be porting existing userid and password info and then loading name and address info into a user profile in ASP.net profile provider.

We already have an in-place Asp.Net membership system with existing profiles. The VFP data will be added to the existing provider data.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how to go about this task? I can program it in VFP or .Net Windows forms.

Craig Berntson suggested pushing directly to the Membership Data Store, With enough trial and error and potentially mismatched elements it could be done. I think that the most diligent approach would be to use the Membership class and it's associated classes to enter the data systematically.
