Kevin, that post could keep a psych class busy for a month ;-) Let's not go there. And don't get your back up, because I surely am not one to talk.

Another interesting day in the NFL. Another narrow escape for the Saints, who are taking the hopes of their fans (including me) on a hire wire act befitting their wildassed city. You just kind of know these hopes are going to crash (avoiding any watery analogies) and hope they don't. Go, Saints.

Broncos take another hit. John Harvey was right in the first place -- they are not very good. I fully credit John for not puffing himself up with reflected glory when they started strong. (And BTW, John, check out C.J. Box. Right up your alley -- Joe Pickett could be you).

I can't wait to hear what our friend in California has to say about the Steelers vs. Bengals game <g>. Maybe he is choking on crow....

Chiefs win again after dumping Larry Johnson. So it was only the Raiders. The fan movement was interesting. On general principles I am for it. Not sure how answerable sports owners should be. These are, after all, only games.

There is a hopefully great game going on now, Pats at Colts. The DVR is watching.

No need for a psyche eval...it's very simple...my father wouldn't pay for a dime of my higher education, had I majored in sports journalism.

Broncos are soft. Steelers were ripe for an upset, after that emotional win on Monday night. Bengals have quietly built one of the better defensive secondaries.

KC game was the ugliest win I've ever seen...terrible ball-handling. Amazing that both KC wins are on the road. Next week, the Steelers travel to Arrowhead and will surely smoke KC.

And I still can't believe Jake Delhomme had a 118 passer rating today....
