The thing is, I've been hearing gloom and doom like this ever since I got into VFP. In the meantime, Microsoft still has been putting out new versions and developers still seem able to find work.
I told my brother-in-law back then that I was using VFP. He said "isn't that dying?" He went on to commit to PowerBuilder and is now drastically scaling back operations as he finds a dearth of PowerBuilder contracts. Meanwhile, VFP keeps chugging along. Mu-ha-ha-ha. :)
