I'm not sure I understand. I think you mean:

1. You put STATUS BAR = ON in the config.fpw
2. When you deploy to your customers, you put STATUS BAR = OFF in the config.fpw

For some reason, even though STATUS BAR = OFF is in the config.fpw file at your customer's site, the status bar is on when they run the app?

If I understand you correctly, search the entire project for status bar and see if something else is turning it on. Verify there is not another config.fpw file that is included in the app that has it turned on (it will run the one compiled inside the app if one exists).
