If you have comparison and required validator controls for one textbox web control, how do you keep an error message close up to the textbox control if it is placed to the right of one of the compare or required validator controls?

This is really a stupid querstion, but what I am saying is, "Can you place one control on top of the other, and either one fires according to the user's input?"

Otherwise the farthest away contrrol will look odd way out there to the right showing an error message for the user's bad input.

So, how do you do this?
