There isn't really any 'justice' in an 'eye for an eye'. Don't confuse justice with revenge. This isn't about justice in any way shape or form. There simply can be no justice for a murdered person. Sorry; not possible. No point in trying to gussy it up. It's revenge pure and simple.

If a man is robbed, then you can have justice by having the thief repay him (with a little interest perhaps). Simply taking money away from the thief and not giving it to the victim, is not justice, it's revenge. So, for the dead? There is no way to provide 'justice'.

I'm not much into revenge, but for those who are, then at least call it what it is.
