I really dislike this idea. If a tax is implemented, then it should be at the grower/wholesale point. That would still raise prices but I'm not sure you can tax anything at the prescription/purchase level. Besides that, I really dislike the tax idea completely because most of the medical prescriptions are for cancer patients. It just seems plain WRONG to add a tax for patients already suffering.
