I thought the plug in for VS was just a web thing. BlackBerry is built on a java environment, and afaik all blackberry apps and widgets are written in java.

From the BlackBerry site:

The BlackBerry® Plug-in for Microsoft® Visual Studio® allows web developers to leverage existing Microsoft® based developer tools to create and debug web projects for BlackBerry smartphones.

Developers working within a .NET programming environment use their development tool of choice, while taking advantage of key benefits and features found in web technology in order to quickly create superior browser-based content and applications. Developers using the BlackBerry Plug-in for Microsoft Visual Studio can enjoy a seamlessly optimized and well integrated web development, debugging and profiling environment, all within a single tool for Microsoft® Visual Studio® 2008.

If you want to write widgets for the BlackBerry, I think you need to get Eclipse and the plugin for Eclipse, and write in java.

Of course, I could be wrong.

>Nope. I see I have a Blackberry section under Tools/Options where I can select my Blackberry Emulator, but apparently I have no Blackberry templates.
