So how is this different from the regular flu (which takes just a week when treated, and all of seven days when not)?

I still haven't contracted the smaller version from our guinea pig. Or maybe I did, but didn't notice - it was too lite. I know I had to take longer naps these days, could be my self-cure autopilot kicking in.
