In Windows 7 64bit I get an error dialog when trying to check if directory exists for an invalid path.
? directory("f:\test")
cd ("f:\test")

Both come up with a dialog box
There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive
\device\harddisk1\Dr1

Anyone have a workaround?
