Okay, if I was to say 'boy' to a stranger, you're probably correct. But, I was raised in an integrated neighborhood in the 40's and 50's. My best friends were black, my first girl friend was black. I spent half my time in their homes and they did the same with mine.
We went to black taverns and white taverns together and drank beer. We had good times! No one tried to give us a hard time. Sometimes, I'd call him 'boy' and he'd call me 'honky', but it was okay.
I spent 20 years in Military service (both the Navy and Air Force). If you had volunteered, you would know that integration was in place in the Military long before it was in the civilian communities of the U.S. I don't believe it would have been possible to last 20 years if you were a racist. We were a team, we had good times and bad, but for the most part we were buddies. Yeah, we made fun of the civilians new terminology, and called each other boys and honkies but as friends we could get away with it.
So, don't give me crap about being racist. I used the word 'boy' to jerk YOUR chain because you called Palin a fool. Through earlier messages, you appeared to accept anything obama said as gospel and that he was going to save the U.S. If you can't figure it out, I'll spell it out for you, again. I used him 'boy' to get your attention. If that's racist, then I apologize to the African American Community but definitely not to you.
