Thanks John for your thoughts.

Are you saying that you daily use the linux platform with VirtualBox, and within that have XP installed and use that for your needed daily VFP development?

Or, do you just use it for testing?

>I haven't used Parallels but I have heard many good things about it. Several of my friends use it on Mac's and swear by it. I use VirtualBox from Sun (it's free) on a linux platform (openSUSE). I have everything windows has to offer installed and everything runs without any issue. That includes windows7, vista, xp, windows server (all of them). It's the best thing since sliced bread for a testing environment. I program daily on xp for VFP stuff. My hardware is just normal except for my ram which is 9G and dual nic's. It might be nice to buy a multi-nic card so all the virtual OS's had there own nic's. Other than that I would not change anything.
