Uploading files via a generic browser is a "piece of cake!"
Turns out that durn Rick Strahl read my mind! It's included in the latest version of Web Connection. He gave me a copy of version 2.75 while the beta was going on, but that didn't include it. I went to West-wind.com and downloaded the 2.85 version and am testing the shareware. I've already ordered the Enterprise version of the product ($399) and that's probably some of the best money I've ever spent. Now if Rick will just send me the instructions on how to turn off the shareware, I'll be set. He's got so many features in the product, it is almost a steal. Tell the world - this is the only way to do web stuff!! < VBG >
Another consideration is the support via the free offline reader. After I installed the new version and stopped the web service and restarted, I kept getting an error message indicating var - querystr could not be found. I hit the offline reader and did a search on querystr - first response said to delete the cgilog.dbf file because the structure had changed. Did that, now running smoothly. Of course, if I had read the upgrade instructions, I probably would have never seen that error!
