I have created a form to do it, and another to fill up the texts table. Here's the layout:
There's a table (called lt.dbf for historical reasons), as ShortText c(40), LongText m. There's a lookup form with a one-coulmn grid showing the ShortText (incrementally searchable) and an editbox showing the LongText for the currently hilighted ShortText. Pressing Enter releases the form and pastes the LongText into the editbox this was called from. You may call it from a rightclick shorthand menu or from editbox's KeyPress method, capturing some key. Works pretty fast. I've developed it for myself mostly, using it to insert repeating phrases into the help text for my apps :). Ah, the other form is just for adding records to this table.
