>>Yeah, here they have road signs such as a black horz. line with two upward bumps on it. Why don't they just have a sign that says"Uneven road surface"? Oh, wait a minute, they do have a plaque underneath that says just that.

Yeah, I know. That line included a pun for you!

>The only one worse than that was a large black circle, about 15cm in diameter, in the middle of the triangle. That so-called "black point" meant "we don't have a clue what's wrong, but statistically we know that too many accidents happen here, so watch out".

We talk of "accident black spots" but we don't have a sign for it like that.

>There are other nice signs, like "circle your wagons, American Americans prone to attack" (three arrows circling), "cow from the right" (you know how that looks... well, maybe your cows come in from the left?), or "a very long deer" (2 km, it says below), "this triangle is blank and upside down", "no passing (valid for cars of cars of other colors too)".

I don't know any of these signs (US or Euro?). US signs tend to be quite daft and verbose, I've found in the past, and not standard.

>The first sign, the three white arrows on a blue circle, is said to have had an additional plate below it, at least in Bosnia, saying "max 10 minutes".

Most of our danger triangles have a plate below to qualify, in English.

- Worry is the interest you pay, in advance, for a loan that you may never need to take out.
