>Apple pie without apples?

Hi Dragan,

Over here we have a cracker (snack) called "Ritz" crackers.

Years ago they had a recipe on the box for "no apple apple pie" This intrigued me, so I tried it.
Turned out to taste and feel just like an apple pie, yet it indeed had no apples - the crackers and cream of tartar were involved as the apples as I recollect (and no doubt some more things, like water, ???) but I truly was amazed. And I am the picky type (as most here will know).

Cheers,

Jim N
