I have another question, if I may. I get error on the SSMS Restore Database window:
Restore Failed.
System.Data.SqlClient.SqlError: Directory Lookup for the file "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL
Server\MSSQL\Data\NameofDatabase.mdf" failed with the operating system error 3(The System cannot find the
path specified)
Note that I placed the NameofDatabase.bak file in another directory to which I am pointing in the field "Specify the source and location of backup sets .. From Device". And I see three backups in the grid below.
What am I missing? Must I place the .bak file into the directory identified with the error above?
